First Kart'Inn is the first Belgian indoor karting to open its doors
A lot has changed since the start in 1993.
Nevertheless, we can proudly say that the spirit that characterizes FKI so much has survived.
Over the years we have grown into a club where sportsmanship and respect for your opponent come first.
This "real" racer mentality is highly valued by us.
The marshalls already emphasize this in our FKI Kids Driving School . In this way we hope to impart the right mentality to the young people among us.
And of course the main ingredient should never be missing : fun!
CIRCUIT
At First Kart 'Inn, safety comes first.
Our karting track may not look as contemporary as some other tracks with slim demarcation systems, but it's a deliberate choice.
Why?
Because we consider the safety of our customers as an absolute priority. Rather than focusing on aesthetics, low maintenance, and space-saving, we opt for the proven reliability of tire walls, as seen on Formula 1 circuits.
Our tire walls not only provide excellent protection but also absorb impact, significantly reducing the risk of injury.
We acknowledge that tire walls make the track less visually appealing. Nevertheless, this is a conscious decision where we believe that the safety we provide is the highest priority and outweighs the drawbacks.
We consciously choose safety over the latest aesthetic trends.

INDOOR
On our indoor track, up to 15 karts compete simultaneously for the highest and fastest honors.
The 450-meter-long indoor track consists of modular elements of 6 meters, allowing us to regularly adjust the track.
The surface is concrete with a fine cement finish.
OUTDOOR
On the 700-meter-long indoor and outdoor track, we allow up to 20 karts. And during races, a maximum of 24 karts is permitted.
The outdoor section is utilized during the weekend when weather conditions allow.
From Saturday midday to Sunday evening at 8:00 pm, if the track is dry, you can enjoy this unique racing experience.
FKI-Racing's club competitions on Wednesday evenings make use of both the indoor and outdoor sections (regardless of weather conditions). Karting experience is required for participation.
The length of the outdoor section varies from 150 to 300 meters, constructed with modular elements.
KARTS
The BIZ chassis is of English manufacture and is propelled by a 270 cc 4-stroke Honda engine with 9 hp.
That way you can easily reach 50 km/h.
The chasis design is with each new fleet adapted to our own needs.
This is very important as each circuit has unique properties.
(presence of an outdoor area, type of surface,...)
These specific properties are therefore examined and elaborated in the production of our tailor-made BIZ karts.
In this way we can guarantee you the best job position.

TIMING DISPLAY
The board displaying the time entry is halfway down the straight line.
On this each driver can be not only see last realized lap time but also those of his opponents.
The position in the competition can also be read by the participants.
Of course, de spectators and supporters can follow the progress of the match on a large screen from the cafeteria.
The glass sections provide a perfect view of the slopes.
